What:
Mighty sniggering
Where:
All around
When:
Recently

Sounds remarkably similair to Quasimodo's well known friendly bellowing is heard
every time someone mentions Horsa's fate, especially seeing how Horsa helped
himself to Quasimodo's equipment before the gods have cast their decision on his
mortality.
Authenticity:

From: Garyth Den Submitted on: XXVII June MMIII
What: The blight on Gaea is worsening, rumours abound of a creeping darkness emerging from the south. Where: Southern Gaia
When: Recently
Details: The ongoing wars on Gaea have taken their toll, grown men mutter behind their beards of a coming doom. Whisperings have arisen of the cursed ghosts of Tau, wailing among the ruins long into the night. Some say they are the casualties of the Chaos wars and the great betrayal. Others say they are remaining Chaos spirits left from that fateful battle. Whatever the truth is, people's dreams are cursed and nightmares prevail throughout the land. The populace's patience is growing strained and once strong hearts accross the continent have been filled with a creeping dread....
Authenticity: Unknown

From: Garrett Murphy Submitted on: VI May MMIII
What: Orcish sects Where:
Dalatia
When: Current
Details: Rumour has it that a number of orcs are forming a highly secretive sect in Dalatia. Whisperings of this sect have been heard as far west as Port GreyCliffs in Sulmar
and even as far south as Faerie Glen.

At this point it is not known what the purpose, nature and leadership of the sect is. Given the general nature of orcs though it is thought by scholarly types that a generally nefarious purpose is likely to be the case. Travellers in Dalatia
especially should be wary of dealing with orcs as this is where the sect is alleged to have originated. More info as it becomes available.
Authenticity: True

From: Tony Den Submitted on: XXX April MMIII
What: The Lizard Man Empire Where: Araktor
When: The last few years
Details: Rumour has it that the once weakened Gissian Empire is rearming and flexing its muscles. Merchant ships have been boarded by far ranging galleys and there has been talk of good pay for any veterans who enrol in the legions.
Authenticity: True

From: Garrett Murphy Submitted on: XXIX April MMIII
What: Weregild Where: Valornes
When: Many moons ago
Details: Apparently Horsa skipped out on a weregild on Valornes. It seems that the weregild,
having been paid by the others in Horsa's party at the time, is not actually. Rumour has it that Horsa is being actively sought on the north-west coast of Gaia. A wandering old fool has apparently alerted bounty hunters to significant information regarding the whereabouts of our hero :-))) - believed to be several miles south of Baron Julian's Keep.
Authenticity: Sounds True
